As this gorgeous fall rolls on, I continue to share with you some of my favorite On The Brink interviews from the last five years. What's the connecting theme? Amazing women who are forging ahead in spite of obstacles, outmoded gender roles and glass ceilings. Today I share with you my October 2019 interview with Samantha Radocchia (Sam Rad). An entrepreneur, speaker, author, futurist and emerging tech advocate, Sam combines the mindsets of an anthropologist and a technologist — which is why I was so excited to have her join me on that podcast. Sam also did a podcast with me back in 2018 on blockchain, which was shared widely. Sometimes you meet someone whose smarts, business sense and just plain moxie blows you away. For me that would be Samantha Radocchia (Sam Rad) whose story I proudly share in my new book, "Rethink: Smashing the Myths of Women in Business," which you can buy here and whose podcast I am reposting here as part of my month-long celebration of Women's History Month. Women are not encouraged to enter STEM, but not only did Sam not listen to that myth, she smashed it. This spring, I was a guest on Peggy Smedley’s ConstructechTV, a highly influential TV show about technology, blockchain and the construction industry. It was such an enjoyable interview that I asked Peggy to share her ideas about technology and construction with our On The Brink listeners. In this podcast, we talk about the challenges she sees in an industry that is well-established, resistant to change, heavily dependent on human labor, and not able to see “what is all around them.” Not hard to see why we connected. Jared Tate shares how he is powerfully disrupting currency with blockchain!

You might just be a real fan of Jared Tate. So many in the DigiByte (DGB) world are. Jared founded DigiBYte in 2013, then the next year, launched DGB's genesis block to create a better cryptocurrency.
